Your information during onboarding

The Windcave shop lets you explore payment products and submit a merchant application or a request for pricing.

Browsing and your selection

Product browsing does not require sign-in. Your product selection is saved on this device for up to 24 hours so you can return after verifying your email. Your language and manually chosen country are remembered on this device. We use the network provider’s approximate IP-based country to suggest a market; you can change it at any time. We do not request precise GPS location.

Your merchant account

Email accounts require a verification link before sign-in. Passwords are stored as salted, one-way hashes. Secure session cookies keep you signed in. Network addresses may be processed for account security and rate limiting. Verification and password recovery messages are delivered through the configured email service. You can also continue using an existing ChatGPT sign-in.

Submitting your application

When you submit, we save your signed-in email, company details, product choices and requested commercial terms in the Windcave onboarding workspace. The team uses this information to prepare your quote, manage the application and request the documents needed for verification. Submitting an application does not activate services or collect a payment.

Access to your records

Your company information and uploaded documents are not part of the public product catalogue. You can access your application through My Data. Authorised Windcave staff and any assigned representative can access records according to their application role. Further identity, business and risk checks may use the verification providers configured for onboarding; relevant details and consent requirements are handled during that process.

Questions and corrections

Use My Data to update your business details, or contact your Windcave representative about access, corrections or other data requests. Contracting entities and applicable terms are confirmed during onboarding.
